- 6 years of teaching experience in Jeju, including 1 year at Branksome Hall Asia
I am originally from Manchester in the UK and have spent the past six years living and working on Jeju Island. During this time, I have taught at Branksome Hall Asia and worked as an English as an Additional Language (EAL) teacher at private academies in Jeju-si. Living in Jeju has deepened my appreciation for nature, and I enjoy spending my free time exploring the island’s hiking trails.
As a teacher, I strive to create a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to grow and explore. I focus on positive reinforcement and aim to make learning both meaningful and practical, helping students develop a deeper understanding and apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. I also believe in integrating technology and modern educational practices to support students in becoming engaged, capable global citizens.
